Tune up – Day 11

Three Kinds of Wisdom

Wisdom is from the Greek word sophias. In the Biblical sense, wisdom is knowing (epignosis) the best path to take. Sophias is the outcome of having the ability to judge correctly and possess the best course of action based on knowledge and understanding that we have obtained. King Solomon received the most precious gift from God—a spirit of wisdom. The scriptures indicate that there are three main kinds of wisdom we can experience:

Godly wisdom—internal reasoning, pictures, and words that come from God’s Word/Spirit that are sealed in the believer. Godly wisdom always has a positive intention and always an appropriate method of getting our needs met. Godly wisdom gives life in super abundance!

Worldly wisdom—internal reasoning, picture and words that are part of the human nervous system (the limbic brain). Worldly wisdom always has a positive intention and always has an inappropriate method to meet legitimate needs. Fleshly wisdom comes to us from the law of sin and death that dominates the world—sin that robs and kills. (Romans 8:2).

Demonic wisdom—internal reasoning, pictures, and words that are demonic. We are not talking about a spirit or an actual living, demonic entity, but rather the think that demons desire us to have. Demonic wisdom never has a positive intention; consequently, it never has an appropriate method. It is the think of demons that is established through the matrix of this world’s system—sin that destroys.

Do you have ears to hear and eyes to see the kind of wisdom you are following? It is your brain to lead! In the next Tune-Up, we will discuss Godly wisdom.

– In His wisdom

Training Your Brain Exercise – What are you hearing?

Today notice your internal auditory voice. Remember, God made you in such a way that you can hear your internal auditory in order to determine if it is Godly wisdom or fleshly wisdom. Think the Lord’s Prayer; you can hear it can’t you! Learn to really listen.

Do your thoughts align with the wisdom of God? If you hear the voice of lust today, say a point blank “NO” to that voice. Decide to train your brain; say “NO” every time you hear the lies. Be diligent to add to your faith moral excellence. You have been designed by God to run your brain. It is time to do internal leadership. Stay alert!
