Magnificent Promises and Partakers of Divine Nature
2 Peter 1:4-5 NASB “For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust. Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence, and in your moral excellence, knowledge . . .”
You are to decide that you are going to train your brain. After all, it is your brain, and you can fill it up with what you desire.
You have been given the ability to choose what to think, what to feel, and how to behave. You are to decide to make every effort—applying all diligence to the task—because you are a partaker of the divine nature. When you were born again, you became a partaker of the divine nature! You have the power from God that allows you to make every effort to live a moral and excellent life, not on your own strength, but because you possess His strength.
It takes faith to turn away from the lies that infiltrate the world; the matrix is all around us. In the video you just participated in, you were given tools that are yours to use. Decide to use them. You decide today, this day, what you will set your mind upon—what is true, lovely, and pure. Decide, be determined—apply all diligence, supply moral excellence!

Today decide to be objective, mindful and purposeful over your thoughts. Put on your MindArmor! Notice how the matrix of the world is presenting lies regarding love versus lust.
- Become aware of what you are saying internally. Pay attention!
- Notice what is being said on the television programs.
- Notice the way a product is presented in the advertisements on TV.
- Listen to the words of the songs that are on the airways.
- Decide what you will entertain in your internal thoughts.
- Become committed and wake up to the issues; you are at war with the system of the world. The Holy Spirit is at war with the desires of the mind of the flesh. Decide today to be a warrior with the Holy Spirit.
